Amelia loves to play with the appliances, especially the dishwasher and the dryer. Here is a little video of her playing with the dryer. She thinks it's so funny when she turns the light on and off. She also slides her hand down the side and makes a screeching noise and loves to bang on the door like a drum - oh she's too funny. Whatever you do don't close the door to the laundry room or she'll be very mad; she could probably spend a whole hour playing in there and that's a long time for her.

This is Amelia's first venture into the cupboards. She's such a silly little goose, momma walked away for a moment and the next thing she heard was a repetative banging noise, "what's that girl doing?" Shelly thought. Upon investigation, this is what she saw:

Today daddy was rough housing with me. We were playing in the infamous bean bag. Daddy (against mom and grandma's wishes) loves to pick me up and throw me into it. It's actually very fun, and I love it. Well, this go 'round after I landed on the bean bag, I was laying there giggling away. Dad was so excited that I found such joy in our play. He jumped on the bean bag with me. As he did I fleeeew up so high, oh what fun..... until my tough forehead bashed right into daddy's big head hitting his nose and lip!!! All of the sudden daddy was gushing with blood!!! Mommy grabbed me and checked that I was alright. I was totally fine. But dad had some serious battle wounds. This is a picture of the damage. Did I mention daddy has a big 'ol head!?

We are still digging out from the Blizzard of '08. This past weekend Salem was hit with the worst storm this week! It set a new record for snowfall on this day. In addition to the snowfall, we had mild winds, which didn’t create any extreme conditions. The whole city pretty much went along with their business as usual. Luckily, the temperature is supposed to reach 70+ this week. These are pictures taken from our front door (after Brandt swept our walk) Looks like Cache Valley in July!

This is another peek-a-boo mishap...
